Product Technology

Factory Activated (SLA)

The SLA Max has been specifically developed for the equipment of the most powerful bikes, ATV’s, snowmobiles and watercrafts, as well as for heavy duty applications. SLA Max batteries are factory activated, maintenance free and completely spillproof. The AGM technology combined with a brand new highly sophisticated construction design create the conditions for increased power, extended life and maximum reliability. Of course, SLA Max batteries are all ready to start, safe and environmental friendly. SLA Max batteries are available in a range of 12 models.

Factory Activated (SLA)

These batteries have all the features of a Maintenance Free with increased power due to a radial grid design and additional plates.

• Plates sulfation minimized

Maintenance Free (MF)

This technology also called VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) represents sealed batteries with gas recombination which brings less maintenance with no water refilling needs. These batteries are supplied with acid pack, and would be activated by filling the acid before first use.

The main advantages of MF batteries are :

• Reduction of plates sulfation
• Higher life cycle (up to three times longer than conventional batteries)
• Less maintenance (no water refilling needs)
• Longer voltage hold

The main advantages of conventional batteries are :

Conventional

Conventional batteries are lead acid flooded batteries. These batteries could be delivered dry charged with or without acid pack, and need to be filled before first use.

Conventional batteries include a sulfation retardant technology which reduces battery-killing plates sulfation. This means longer life for the batteries, especially in standby or storage mode.

These batteries are perfectly suitable for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles) , UTVs (Utility Vehicles) , watercrafts, snowmobiles and lawnmowers.
